Well placed for visits to a number of historic centres, the picturesque town of Barcelos with its famous Thursday morning weekly market is a mere 10 minutes away whilst the ancient towns of Braga and Viana do Castelo can be reached within half an hour. The long dune-backed beaches on the coast at Esposende are a 20 minute drive although the wide sandy river beaches of the Rio Cávado lie not far from the house.
A good selection of amenities, including a shop and a couple of restaurants may be found in the picturesque village where this house is located. In the centre of Barcelos, a wider choice may be discovered.
