A former miller’s home integrated in an enthralling 220 hectares rural estate converted into agro-rural tourism accommodation, located at Alfândega da Fé, in the heart of the Vilariça valley, and totally independent, allowing privacy and enjoyment of nature at its best.

This holiday refugee has a privileged situation to visit Trás-os-Montes, the must Northeast Region of Portugal. It is settled at a very short walking distance from the main house (800m), next to a water resource and the Vilariça river. The involving estate produces several won certified products, such as: olive oil, jams, cheese, fruits and excellent wine.
The decoration and furniture are rustic and very practical. The ample open plan living area with a tender fireplace is without doubt the convivial hub of the house, with a colorful informal décor and terracotta tiles, with plenty of space for children to play. Four double rooms, with en suite private bathroom, simply yet comfortably decorated, and a compact kitchen make it ideal for families or large groups, on holiday together.
Outdoor summer living could not be more appealing. A shared swimming pool, only a few minutes away, surrounded by gracious covered and open terraces, and backed by the main house, extends a lazy invitation to a swim in the sunshine. This house is high quality spot to enjoy the rural countryside, a gentle pace of life watching farm activities and to discover one the most authentic Portuguese regions, sprinkled with friendly smiles of a truly welcoming people. Children are very welcome to enjoy and take part in the daily farm life, and a children’s playground completes the picture of an overwhelming holiday.
Amenities are within easy reach and the local village grocer’s sells all basic items. Besides a big range of services on request such as: traditional meals, wine tasting, bird watching, walking , hunting, fishing, and bicycle Tours (in the farm and surroundings), agro tourism activities, donkey tours, or boat trips, are available to guests.
